Great - works for my bigger kitty just fine. December 29, 2005 25 out of 26 found this review helpful
We have been using this for about 2 months now. My kitty is about 15 pounds, so this supposed to be the wrong size for him. But I knew that cats can squeeze in and out of almost everything, and I prefer the smaller hole.
The quality seems just fine for the in-basement-window-pane use that we have. I'm not sure this is the one I would pick to put in a valuable thick door, but I can't say exactly why not.
cats can come and go August 31, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
It went on so easily with the right saw. We installed it on a bedroom door. In the past the cats kept waking my son up to be let in or out. Now he can sleep in peace.
The hard part was getting the cats (6 & 7 years) to accept the flap. The magnet scared them. It took a few days for them to realize that the door wasn't going to grab their tail. I love the freedom that we have now.
Works for our fat cat May 17, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
OK, he's not that big, maybe 13-14 lbs., but he has no problems using this cat door. And we're glad to have the litter box out of the kitchen.
nice product April 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We homemade a cat door for our patio with a piece of lumber cut to size and sealed at the edges with our patio door. It works great and at a fraction of the cost of the others.
Looks are deceiving.... July 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This cat flap looks so small, but our leggy 13 lb tomcat has no problems getting through it. And, while it doesn't appear to be that sturdy, once installed it's rock-solid. A great value, when considering all the local pet stores were charging $50+ for THEIR cat doors!
