 They're somewhat expensive, but certainly worth it if you need it January 6, 2009
We have 5 (yes 5) cats, three of which are on specialty diets. If there is an easier way to keep them in their own bowls, I'd be surprised. We have obtained 5 different radio tags (including a tag from the dog door, same tag different color), although I believe the company has suspended at least 2 of the colors since. Aside from the slightly exasperating 'click' 'click' noise associated with with the door locking and unlocking, this is a fine product, although you might want to invest in spare radio tags, cats can be rough on them.

I have used this product before and have had faultless operation from it. They are easy to install and setup and the kitties find them easy to use.
 not secure January 2, 2009
Simply put, this door is not secure. It took our 15 lb. cat about 15 seconds of leaning on it before it popped open (he's on a diet, and there was food on the other side). The latch is too far to the side of the opening, and the door is too flexible, so he just pushed on the other side and it flexed until it opened. If I had installed this in an exterior door, I'm sure a suitably motivated critter could enter as well.
We replaced this with the product from Cat Mate and are quite pleased with that one.
