Better than Flying Cow March 19, 2008

I've purchased 3 "Bamboo Combat Extreme Flying-Cow Dog Toy"s for my dog. She loved the softness of the Flying-Cow and destroyed 2 others previously. To try something new I than purchased the "Triple Crown Easy Glider Max Frisbee for Dogs" and was happier with this product. For one, the Flying-Cow is light so it doesn't fly well if there is a breeze and it gets dirty and wet fast. My dog (25lb border collie/beagle mix) was able to chew the edges of the fabric on the Flying Cow so it doesn't fly very well anymore. The Triple Crown has weight to it so it is easy to throw far. The foam is very tough and waterproof and she hasn't been able to chew any pieces off of it yet in 3 weeks of use (and I don't let her have any unsupervised visits with it to find out). Over all she goes nuts for the Triple Crown - it's chewy but doesn't fall apart. It also bounces of things like cars or houses without damaging anything. Give it a try....
3/30/08: I thought I'd come back and add some more info to my review. My dog has been unable to make a dent in this frisbee. I've watched her try her hardest to tear this thing apart and she has been unsuccesful -and her last attempt was an hour straight! She goes nuts for this frisbee - I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! It's by far her favorite toy...

I bought this frisbee for my standard poodle about a year ago. She immediately abandoned all her other outdoor toys (balls, etc), and now we play frisbee several times daily. She adores her frisbee to the point that I am buying another one to keep inside!!
The frisbee is exactly as described - very easy to throw for anyone, regardless of experience level. As with any frisbee, be careful throwing it in windy conditions - it will catch on gusts and blow pretty far away.
The foam is soft to the touch, yet nearly indestructible. After 1 year of daily use, our frisbee is holding up very well.
The only damage that has been done to the frisbee has been from using it in a way NOT intended - as a chew toy. It does have just a few small spots where my dog has chewed some material off. My dog is a "power chewer" who tears most toys up very quickly, yet this frisbee is only slightly damaged after plenty of chewing. I haven't found anything besides Kongs with similar durability.
Finally, the frisbee not only floats in water, but it can also double as a water bowl. This is great at the dog park.
I just can't say enough good things about this frisbee, I strongly recommend it!!

My Black Lab loved this frisbee and I can hardly get it away from her to toss it. It is about 3 inches thict on the outer rim, so she likes to teethe on it in the back of her mouth. Maggie is six years old and and it is one of her favorite toys. A dogs teeth will leave marks,but it does not tear in any way. It is heaver than a normal frisbee and is best for throws of 50 feet or less. I definately would reccomend this purchase.

My dog loves to bang his easy glider max on the fence, and ground.This is the only frisbee I have found that will stand up to his abuse. Other frisbees that I have purchased in the past have been torn up in a week. I will continue to purchase this product in the future.

We are crazy about these "frisbees"! They are VERY easy to throw, durable, and I don't worry about the dogs breaking a tooth or hurting their mouths.
I recommend the smaller size for extensive water play...they are easier for the dogs to swim with.
